Serving Lewis County and Surrounding Washington Communities

The Community Connections segment of our Pride website exists to foster a strong network of support, visibility, and collaboration for LGBTQIA+ individuals, families, and allies across Lewis County and surrounding counties in Washington State.

This space provides a platform for local businesses, vendors, nonprofits, and organizations to voluntarily showcase their commitment to being safe, affirming, and inclusive spaces. Organizations dedicated to promoting diversity, inclusion, and acceptance may share their services, events, and initiatives—creating meaningful opportunities for community members to connect with like-minded people and trusted resources.

This website is run at no cost to the community through the collaborative efforts of SHIELDS Foundation and Rooted in Lewis County. It is maintained as a living directory, with listings updated annually and/or by request, to increase access while prioritizing safety—particularly in rural and underserved areas.

All listings are opt-in only and reviewed prior to publication. Approval is based on direct verification with the business or organization to ensure:

• Accuracy of information
   
• Explicit consent to be listed
   
• Protection against doxxing or unwanted exposure
   

By highlighting affirming and intentional safe spaces, we strive to cultivate an environment where everyone feels welcome, valued, and supported in their journey toward a more inclusive and equitable world.
